mks files have to be attached to the [MC-SSE-SFX]{} folder in the root of the mod, or can they be added/attached to other folders and then, well, import them?
Midazolam and succinylcholine characteristics.
Midazolam is a benzodiazepine that acts as a peripheral musculo-skeletal relaxant. Its neuromuscular blocking activity has been reported with a rapid onset and short duration of action. Succinylcholine is a depolarizing neuromuscular relaxant with a rapid onset and short duration of action. Because of midazolam's affinity for GABA-A receptors, it is postulated that it may enhance the neuromuscular effect of succinylcholine. Sixty-four adult ASA physical status I and II patients undergoing general anesthesia were randomly allocated to receive 1 mg/kg midazolam as a premedication or not before the induction of anesthesia. In each patient, succinylcholine was administered in a double blind, randomized fashion. The onset, recovery times, and duration of muscle relaxation were measured. There was no difference in the hemodynamic responses, recovery times, and duration of muscle relaxation between the patients who received midazolam and those who did not. Midazolam can be used safely as an induction agent for general anesthesia.Oxygenated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon and phytosterol contents in eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) and influence of fruit washing on their stability.
Eggplant is known to be a good source of antioxidant phytochemicals, and it has been suggested that washing can increase their content. This study has quantitatively determined the contents of nine oxygenated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and four phytosterols in raw and washed eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) fruits. In addition, the influence of washing on the relative stability of these phenolics under refrigerated storage was studied. PAHs and phytosterols were found to be the predominant phenolics, and they constituted a minimum of 36.9% and 52.7% of the total phenolics in the raw eggplant samples. The content of ΣPAH in raw eggplant ranged from 1.1 to 2.3 μg/kg, and that of phytosterols from 20.4 to 31.0 μg/kg.
